PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Dr Wu's major research interests include:

(1) study of stable water isotopes (oxygen-18 and deuterium) in hydrologic cycles, for example, precipitation, atmospheric water vapor and groundwater recharge;

(2) terrestrial ecohydrology such as plant-soil water relations and soil water dynamics, water use efficiency plants'water use strategy and ecophysiological response.
