AREAS OF EXPERTISE

My research interests mainly include spatial development and its sustainable challenges in the process of rapid urbanisation and industrialisation. My research analysis tends to use eastern China as the empirical test bed to analyse the dynamic process of changes. Specifically, I examine the impact of High-speed rail development on urban and regional restructuring, changing regional and urban governance in the context of economic globalization and rapid urbanisation.
