Land and Water Processes and Environmental Effects
The researches of this group focus on the watershed hydrological cycle, drought-flood disaster, water pollution and ecological degradation caused by climate change and land use/cover change. Clarifying the process and driving mechanisms of watershed land use change and its influencing ways and degrees on hydrology, water environment and ecological service function. Revealing the controlling mechanisms of climate change and key water conservancy project on watershed hydrology, river-lake relationship, water environment and wetland ecology. Developing models to evaluate the ecological and environmental effects of climate change and utilization of land and water in the watershed.
